The abbey can be visited with an audio self guide system individually.
A Visitors’ Entrance on the walking path around the abbey was built for guests to enter the building complex during opening hours.

In the TriCollis Visitor’s Center, a 20-minute film gives you an insight into monastic life at Pannonhalma Abbey.

Areas covered by the visit in the monastery: church and crypt built in the 13th century, cloisters built in the 15th century and library built in the 19th. From March until November, guests have the opportunity to visit a temporary exhibition on the ground floor of the library.

Our guests are invited to take part in the midday prayer of the community at 1 pm.

The audio self guide is available for abbey visit only. We kindly ask our guests to leave the devices at our staff in the Exhibition hall.

Audio guides are available in the following languages: Hungarian, German, English, French, Italian, Russian, Slovak, Polish, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch and Spanish.

The duration of the visit is not limited but visitors are kindly asked to leave the building in 1 hour after the closure of the cash-desk.
