A Pannonhalmi Főapátság ötödik alkalommal rendezi meg nemzetközi ökumenikus konferenciáját. 2025-ben, a KERT kulturális évadunkban monostorunkba látogat Grzegorz Wojciech Ryś bíboros, Łódź-i érsek (Łódź, Lengyelország), Job Getcha pisidiai metropolita (Pisidia, Törökország), valamint az ökumenikus mozgalom számos jeles nemzetközi képviselője. A konferencián egyháztani, liturgikus, monasztikus és eszkatológiai irányokból közelítenek a „kert” fogalmához az előadók. A konferenciát és a záró ökumenikus vesperást a főapátság YouTube-csatornáján élőben közvetítjük.

A részvétel ingyenes, de regisztrációhoz kötött. A regisztrációs felület az oldal alján található. A jelentkezés határideje: 2025. szeptember 19.

In 2025, the Archabbey of Pannonhalma will host the International Ecumenical Symposium for the fourth time. The conference will be attended by S. Em.R. Card. Grzegorz Wojciech Ryś, Archbishop of Łódź (Łódź, Poland), H.Em. Metropolitan Job of Pisidia (Pisidia, Turkey), and many prominent international representatives of the ecumenical movement. The theme of the symposium is the church. The conference and ecumenical vespers will be streamed live on the Archabbey's YouTube channel.
Participation is free, but all attendees must register in advance. The registration form can be found at the bottom of this page. The registration deadline is September 19, 2025.

A 2024-es konferenciához hasonlóan a konferencia másnapján, szeptember 27-én hazai és határon túli katolikus, evangélikus és református teológiai fakultások professzorainak és hallgatóinak részvételével műhelyfoglalkozásokra kerül sor. Ezeket a műhelyeket a konferencia előadói, valamint egy-egy felkért professzor vezetik. Egyedülálló történés hazánkban, hogy az egyes egyházak teológushallgatói egymással találkoznak, és egy-egy teológiai részterület meghatározó képviselőjével ökumenikus közösségben folytatnak eszmecserét. Az együttműködésbe bevont teológiai fakultások:

Workshops (27 September 2025)

Following the example of the 2024 conference, workshops will be held on September 27, the day after the conference. These workshops will bring together professors and students from Catholic, Lutheran, and Reformed theological faculties from both Hungary and abroad. The sessions will be led by conference speakers and other invited professors.

This is a unique event in Hungary, providing an ecumenical setting where theology students from different churches can meet, engage in dialogue, and learn from leading experts in specific theological fields.

The participating theological faculties include:

Konferenciánkról

A 2025-ben megrendezett szimpózium vezérfonala a „kert” témája. A kert képe szokatlannak tűnhet, ámde az elvesztett, elfeledett, újra megtalált vagy újrateremtett kertek története végighúzódik az egész Szentíráson, az ókori és középkori keresztény reflexión. Bőségesen talál visszhangra a kortárs teológiai, filozófiai és spirituális reflexióban is.

Lelkiségtörténeti, ekkleziológiai, lelkipásztori, liturgiatörténeti, irodalomi és dogmatikai előadások merítenek inspirációt a kert fogalmából. A konferencia előadói a katolikus, evangélikus és református egyház nemzetközi vezetői, illetőleg a teológia és az irodalom nemzetközi szinten kiemelkedő képviselői.

A konferencia előadásai és a kapcsolódó beszélgetések a legmagasabb elméleti igényeket józan gyakorlatiassággal, a történelmi távlatot kortárs érzékenységgel, az őszinte helyzetértékelést jövőbe mutató távlatokkal kívánják ötvözni.

About our Symposium

The guiding theme of the symposium is the "garden." While the image of the garden may seem unusual at first, the story of gardens lost, forgotten, rediscovered, or reimagined runs throughout the Bible and the reflections of early Christian and medieval thought. It also resonates deeply within contemporary theological, philosophical, and spiritual discourse.

The conference will include presentations in spirituality, ecclesiology, pastoral theology, liturgical history, literature, and dogmatics, all drawing inspiration from the concept of the garden. The speakers represent international leadership from the Catholic, Lutheran, and Reformed churches, as well as prominent figures from the fields of theology and literature.

The presentations and related discussions at the conference aim to combine the highest theoretical demands with sober practicality, historical perspective with contemporary sensitivity, and an honest assessment of the situation with a forward-looking perspective.
